About Safe Space Connect
A neurodivergent-affirming childcare marketplace
Care built on understanding
Safe Space Connect was built to bridge the gap between families raising neurodivergent children and caregivers who truly understand their needs. We believe every family deserves consistent, affirming support, and every qualified sitter deserves a platform that recognizes their specialized skills.
Founded by a behavioral health professional
Safe Space Connect was founded by Jenna Rowley, a behavioral health professional with years of experience supporting neurodivergent children and their families. She saw firsthand how hard it was for families to find caregivers who truly understood their child. Not just convenience, but compassion, informed knowledge, and genuine affirmation of neurodiversity. She built this platform to close that gap. Every part of Safe Space Connect is grounded in the same principles she practices: trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, deeply respectful, and comfort-centered.
Vetted. Reviewed. Trusted.
Every sitter on our platform is background-checked through Checkr, manually reviewed by our team, and required to demonstrate meaningful experience with neurodivergent populations before their profile goes live. We do not publish everyone who applies, and that is by design.
Why it matters
Finding the right person shouldn't be this hard.
For most families raising a neurodivergent child, the search for a qualified sitter is exhausting. Generic platforms aren't built for this. Sitters with real ABA, sensory, or behavior experience are hard to find, and even harder to vet.
Safe Space Connect changes that. We filter for exactly the right people, check them thoroughly, and present them in a searchable, transparent way so families can find their fit with confidence.
