About
Hello, my name is Katherine. I have over 18 years of experience working with children of all ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children. My experience includes working in home daycares, preschools, after-school programs, and public schools. For the past several years, I have worked in ESE Pre-K and elementary classrooms as both a one-on-one para and classroom paraprofessional, giving me experience working with children with special needs. I also hold an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. I am bilingual in English and Spanish, have reliable transportation, and can renew my CPR/First Aid certification if needed. I am caring, patient, dependable, and passionate about working with children.

Experience with neurodivergent care
I worked since 2020 until February 2026 in public schools in ESE classrooms. I worked as a one on one Paraprofessional with children with special needs, one in a 1st grade Gen Ed classroom and the other in a ESE prek classroom. I was also a classroom Para in different ESE prek classroom working with children with special needs. I currently hold my CPI certification that I renew by taking the course annually.
