About
Hello, I'm Aracelis and I'm excited to meet you! I’ve been babysitting for about 9 years and have professional experience working with children in neurodevelopmental and disability-support settings. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology (Clinical Track) from the University of Central Florida in 2023, and I am currently pursuing my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Stetson University. I have experience supporting children with ADHD, OCD, Autism (ASD), anxiety, dyslexia, mood disorders, PDA profiles, and other developmental, emotional, and behavioral needs. I’m happy to help with homework, sports, creative activities, outdoor play, emotional support, routines, or simply following a child’s interests and making sure they feel seen and safe! Outside of childcare, I love traveling, being near the water, and recently picked up rollerblading again! Families often describe me as approachable, dependable, fun, and easy to connect with. My goal is always to create an environment where children feel respected, empowered, and able to thrive. I look forward to connecting with you and your littles! :) *Additional qualifications: I am CPR certified and trained in heart rate variability and breathing regulation techniques to support emotional regulation and stress management. I am also a professional Florida DCF mandated reporter as well as trained in Indicators of Child Abuse and Neglect Microlearning. **Professional references are available upon request. Rates may vary depending on number of children, travel distance, and level of support needed.
My approach
My approach is trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, patient, and individualized. I believe children deserve support that honors who they are while also helping them build confidence, communication skills, emotional regulation, independence, and self-trust. I love creating genuine connections with the kids I work with. I’m very hands-on, playful, and engaged!
