Danielle E
Compassionate caregiver focused on connection, regulation, and neurodivergent support.
About
Hey, I’m Danielle! I was late diagnosed with autism, ADHD, and OCD, so I know firsthand how a neurodivergent child may be thinking and feeling. My passion and compassion are what truly set me apart. Growing up undiagnosed, I often felt unseen, unheard, misunderstood, and helpless because I didn’t yet know how to advocate for myself or even fully understand my own needs. Because of that, I’ve developed a natural ability to look beyond behaviors, understand what may be driving them, and problem solve to help children feel supported, safe, and understood. I’m also passionate about parent coaching and support because I’m a mother to two neurodivergent children myself, and there are so many things I wish someone had helped me understand sooner. I’m energetic, bubbly, fun-loving, and kind, and I’m especially good at de-escalation, emotional support, and building strong connections with kids and families.
My approach
My approach to neurodivergent care is rooted in curiosity, compassion, softness, and understanding. I believe in seeking to understand rather than control, and in approaching children with patience, empathy, and genuine care. I strive to help kids feel safe, heard, and supported while helping them find healthier ways to express themselves and communicate their needs. My goal is to assist rather than punish, build connection rather than fear, and help children feel understood for who they are.

Experience with neurodivergent care
I have both personal and professional experience supporting neurodivergent individuals. I am autistic and ADHD myself, which gives me lived experience and a genuine understanding of sensory needs, emotional regulation, communication differences, and feeling misunderstood. I’m a parent to neurodivergent children, so this is something I navigate daily both personally and professionally. Work-wise, I was a nanny for four children for two years, including two autistic children, and I also completed training and work as an RBT. I have experience with de-escalation and crisis support for adults with schizophrenia, and I’m a CNA and psychology major hoping to specialize in neurodiversity and supportive mental health care.
